Photo Art Direction
The Jessica Simpson team had rented a unique house in Venice, CA for a desert inspired photoshoot for the Spring 2022 campaign. I was hired to give photo art direction to the photographer and created a few mood boards based on angular poses to compliment the natural and organic landscape. It was important to capture images in both horizontal and vertical formats, with a few fast shutter images as well for short animations for the website.
Spring 2022 Campaign Banners
The banners were designed to compliment the photoshoot and the venue in which we shot the campaign. I opted for a handwritten, loose, organic script font that also mimics Jessica's own handwriting. We wanted the script to look like it had been hand written over a photo. We also wanted to use blocks of neutral colors and pieces of the images to add to the collage effect.
